The concept of different levels of Jannah is talked about in various Islamic texts like the Quran, Hadith and writings by Islamic scholars. Allah says: "Look how We have favored some of them over others. But the Hereafter is greater in degrees [of difference] and greater in distinction." (Quran 17:21) Hadith: Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said "Jannah has 100 levels. Each level is even more beautiful than the previous one. The best level in Jannah is called Firdaus and it Is right at the center. It is the highest and most amazing part of Jannah". Scholar Imam al-Ghazali said: Jannah has four main levels. The first level is for those who go to Jannah without being judged for their deeds. The second level is for those who are judged but still get into Jannah. The third is for those who faced some punishment before entering Jannah and the fourth is for those who needed to be purified first. Each level has even more amazing parts to it. The better you are the higher the level you get and the more wonderful things you will experience. The word Firdous الفردوس is mentioned two times in the Quran.

  • 1. ٱلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ (Who will inherit al-Firdaus They will abide therein eternally).
(As for those who believe and do good works the Gardens of Paradise shall be there to welcome them)
