Manasik Hajj | Step-by-Step Hajj Guide

Complete the Hajj and Umrah for the sake of Allah. Hajj and Umrah should be performed only for the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala, without any other purpose in mind.

What kind of worship is Hajj?

Ayat

Hajj is one of the fundamental parts of Islam. Allah SWT said: The Hajj of Allah's house is obligatory upon the people for the sake of Allah and whoever can afford the way. (Al-Imran: 97)

Ahadees

1) Sayyiduna Abu Huraira RA said: The Messenger of Allah came to us, you read the sermon and he said: O people! Hajj has become obligatory on you, so perform Hajj. (Muslim: 1337). 2) Prophet Muhammad SAWW said: The edifice of Islam is built on five things.

● To bear witness that there is no God but Allah
● Muhammad SAWW is the Messenger and Prophet of Allah
● And to give Zakat
● And to perform Hajj
● And to fast in Ramadan. (Bukhari: 8)

Hajj is obligatory only once in a lifetime.

It is narrated from Abdullah bin Abbas Nabi Anhu that Iqra bin Habs asked Prophet SAWW and said: Messenger of Allah, is Hajj obligatory every year, or only once? He (peace be upon him) said: No, it is obligatory only once, but whoever can afford (more), then he should do it as a NAFL. (Muslim: 1337 Hasan Amin 2006)
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ali RA. He said that whoever did not perform Hajj despite being able to do it, is equal to a Jew dying or becoming a Christian. (Al-Wal-Har-Walz Yar-Pali Abdul-Aziz bin Bazi 8)

What is the Fazeelat (Virtue) of Hajj?

Rasool SAWW said: "The reward of hajj is paradise" (Muslim 3289)
Hajj erases all previous sins (Muslim 321)
Hajj and Umrah pilgrims are rewarded according to their expenditure and hard work. (Bukhari 1787)
The prayers of the pilgrims are accepted (Ibn e Maja 2893)
The Haji is also rewarded for his ride.

If a person goes for Hajj and dies, there is a full reward for him. Prophet Muhammad SAWW said: "Whoever sets out for Hajj and dies on the way, he will continue to receive the reward of Hajj until the Day of Judgment.” (Sahih al-Taghrib: 622) Allah Ta'ala will raise the Haji on the Day of Resurrection while he is saying Talbiyah. (Muslim 2892) On the authority of Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) who says that a man was standing in the field of Arafat in the name of meeting the Messenger of Allah. Suddenly he fell from his horse and his neck was broken. When he was mentioned to the Prophet SAWW said to him: Bathe him with water and berry leaves and cover him in both his clothes. Also do not put perfume on him and do not cover his head. Because Allah the Exalted will judge him on the day he will raise the call. (Muslim: 2892) (Nasa'i: 2858)

The conditions for obligation of Hajj are Five 5

Prophet SAWW Said: "Hajj is a name of going to Arafah" (Abu Dawud 1949)

What should be done if a member of Hajj remains?

Answer: If a member of the Hajj dies, then the Hajj will not take place, and the Hajj will have to be performed again the next year

What are the Obligations of Hajj?

The obligations of Hajj are five 5

1. Put on Ihram on Meeqat
2. Pebbles at Jamarat
3. Shaving and trimming hair
4. Spending the night with Ayyame Tashreeq in Mina
5. Tawaaf al Wadda

What should be done if there is any obligatory Hajj left?

Answer: If there is any obligatory act of Hajj, then an animal has to be sacrificed as a fidya. If one does not have the strength to sacrifice an animal, then 3 fasts during Hajj and 7 will have to go home.

What are the Types of Hajj?

There are 3 three types of Hajj

1. Hajj e Tamattu
2. Hajj e Qiran
3. Hajj e Ifrad

Hajj e Tamattu

Both Hajj and Umrah are done in Hajj e Tamattu

Hajj e Qiran

Wearing Ihram during the days of Hajj. Also the Prophet SAW performed Hajj e Qiran.

Hajj e Ifrad

Hajj e Ifrad is the only Hajj.

3 Restrictions during Hajj

1. No sexual activity
2. No disobedience
3. No fight or break out

Prophet SAWW Said: "whoever performs Hajj for the pleasure of Allah and did not commit any nonsense or sin during that time, so after performing Hajj He is free from sins like that Just as his mother had born him free from sins. (Bukhari 1521)

What kind of atmosphere is maintained during Hajj?

Allah's fear , thanks for his blessings maintained during Hajj. Hajj is for the glory and greatness of Allah and it is the same for all human beings. Oh Allah! Grant us the opportunity to perform Hajj too. (Ameen Ya Rabb)
